The former CEO of Sencha is one of the trusted executives in the IT industry with deep leadership experience in building and delivering effective solutions to customers across the globe. As a business leader and brand ambassador for Celestial, Art Landro will support the executive management team in providing strategic guidance in scaling up Celestial’s customer base in the field of Web/Mobile Applications, Cloud Hosting, DevOps, QA and Testing services.
Art has extensive hands-on leadership experience in building and directing customer-facing global engineering, marketing, sales, and services delivery teams. At Cognomotiv start-up he served as COO and prior to that he held CEO roles at both Sencha and Cordys. Art was also President of MontaVista Software where he was key to the telecoms and automotive industries adopting embedded Linux systems. Prior to MontaVista Art had regional leadership roles in the Asia-Pacific-Japan territory for Documentum, Cadence and General DataComm. Art spent 5 years on Active Duty with the USAF and 22 years in the Air Force Reserves, retiring as a Lt Col. Art holds a SB in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and is a Distinguished Graduate of the USAF’s Squadron Officer School.
